Since I met you I have forgotten what its like to be lonely,

  I don't recall how to be bored with life,

  I lost all sense of anxious waiting and hoping.

Since I've know you I've learned what its like to be loved,

  I've been taught how to be patient,

  I experienced tolerance I so much needed.

Since I fell in love with you I've been happier,

  I've lived a fuller life,

  I am eager for the future, a future with you.

Since I've loved you I have known a known a new life,

  I cherish each day for what it holds,

This was written in an attempt to express the feelings felt when life has changed for the better because of the influences of another person.
