Worth Dying For

Tonight while watching a movie I pondered a line: "A beauty worth dying for..." and decided to color based on that. The finished product is not nearly what I had intended, but then I do not have the talent for what I desired.

At first I started with the green sky and blue earth with a black sun. This was since so often beauty is the uniqueness, or the opposite of what we see each day. Next came the red and purple, then orange and yellow, and finally green and brown fades. These show that there is always more over the horizon, something to look forward to.
