Teardrops

After watching a particularly touching movie, I had a lot of emotion built up, and since I had the pencils sitting near by I tried to capture some of that on paper.

I used orange for the tears since blue seemed to heavy & dark. Not all tears are due to grief, the best ones are the "touched" tears, the ones shed when everything comes together in a way only God could orchestrate. When the emotional high is just too much for the mind to handle and the heart takes over.

The soft background was to show how things aren't always clean cut, which often leads to the tears being shed.
